Duke National was established in 2018 by,courtney Duke Lawrence, a property development entrepreneur who has been passionate about property since his teens and boasts a strong track record of successful project delivery.
Courtney got involved in property investment almost by accident when he bought his first home at the age of 23. He then moved away for work and decided to let it out, in an era before this was commonplace for ordinary people, and so it began.
“Looking back, it wasn’t an accident at all,” he said.
“I remember the careers people coming into my school to talk to us about what we wanted to do with our lives, and my answer, even then, was ‘to be involved in property’. I’ve always been absolutely fascinated by it, and how you can transform a building into something really special and at the same time maximise its potential as an investment.”
